Bon voyage (Zuzana Mojžišová)
Talks about love are often banal, and yet it can be quite seriously said that Zuzana Mojžišová´s novel Bon Voyage is a love story with both good and bad ends. It's a cruel, kind, funny and, in particular precise prose, and any happy ending is embedded directly in the opportunity to read it. Fragmentary stories, dreams, stories bear witness about the whole, which is in the end compact and compositionally perfectly closed. It contains also foreign stories, not only love but also pain, not only hatred, but also sadness. Axis on which is the author threading memories, stories, events, is a part of life, in which relationships begin and end. What remains after all is everything that belongs to humanity and life.
