Today (Jana Beňová)
Jana Beňová as a writer does not need to be introduced. So only briefly: Svetloplachý, Lonochod a Nehota, Parker (Ľúbostný román), Dvanásť poviedok a Ján Med, Plán odprevádzania (Café Hyena). Jana Beňová is also a journalist, under the cover of Jana Parker she wrote short articles for the newspaper SME about various topics, mostly actual and showing a clear stand. Most of them succeeded to overcome the only today valid fate and they still have their charm, the universal citizen's engagement and so they proved their own existence even to be published in a book. Beňová reflects there about a lot of things, about smaller or bigger issues, which unfold our slovak, mainly bratislavian, view of the world. Sometimes it is cheerful, sometimes sad. Sometimes it draws a bitter smile.
